An Introduction to Building & Construction

  • Activity and Benefits

    • Kids construct a new model each week based on exciting real-world themes – from a construction site to an amusement park, Airport etc.

    • The fully functional real world model enables children to discover and understand how they work.

    • Kids will learn about everything from gears, pulleys wheels and axles, friction etc by seeing them in action.

    • It takes learning out of the pages of the textbook and into an imaginative, 3-dimensional, hands-on fun, learning experience!

  • Learning Targets

    • Develop hand eye coordination, motor and perception skills

    • Develop an appreciation for how things work

    • Build self-confidence and problem solving skills
